angelo, i think it was you in my life who asked what the origin of "get down to brass tacks" was. today while reading gofugyourself i clicked on a wikipedia link to cockney rhyming slang and apparently, it's slang for "the facts." so it actually doesn't make any sense.

we're going to push brunch party back a weekend, to sunday the 16th. nial ended up having to work this sunday and plus angelo's hanging out with his family (whatever) and i may or may not have coughed up blood yesterday.
