that's all complete semantics. You don't forfeit rights by spelling your name different ways. Whoever wrote that is extending some esoteric constraints of contract law that, while perhaps existent, are certainly not commonly observed. And OF COURSE going to court and jail is essentially voluntary; that's the very nature of a social contract: Individual citizens forfeit certain liberties for the advantages associated with nationhood. It's how society got to where it is today. Obviously you don't HAVE to do anything anyone says, but then you would be a sociopath.
